Recognising Givaudan’s retiring leaders

Anne Tayac will retire after a distinguished 30+ year career at Givaudan, where she has been a driving force behind the Company’s operational and digital transformation. As Head of Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS) & IT and a member of the Executive Committee since 2016, she delivered all GBS design and implementation commitments, building a global organisation that fosters efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement. Anne also oversees Global IT, guiding operational performance while shaping the company’s digital strategy and transformation. In addition, she leads the Centre of Excellence, driving operational expertise and the adoption of best practices across both divisions in Operations, Project and Change Management, and heads the Integration Office to ensure the seamless onboarding of acquired companies onto Givaudan’s platforms. Anne began her career in Quality Assurance and joined Givaudan in 1993, where she held leadership positions in Quality Management and global Fragrances and Customer care, Head of Fragrance Supply Chain Excellence and Head of Fragrance Operations. Her leadership legacy is defined by her commitment to customer service, operational efficiency and digital excellence, as well as her warm, engaging style and genuine care for people.

Roberto Garavagno will retire after a distinguished career of nearly 30 years with Givaudan, where he has been instrumental in shaping the Company’s legal and integrity framework. As Group Counsel since 2015 and Group Integrity Officer since 2023, Roberto has overseen all related topics across the Group. In this capacity, he provided strategic legal advice on business, mergers and acquisitions, competition law, corporate financing and capital markets, ensuring robust governance and compliance standards while supporting responsible growth and long-term value creation for the Company. His professionalism, deep legal expertise, and unwavering commitment have earned him the respect of colleagues across Givaudan and the industry.

Changes to the Board of Directors

At the Annual General Meeting on 19 March 2026, all Board members will stand for re-election, except the current Chairman, Calvin Grieder, and Board member Tom Knutzen.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Calvin Grieder for his exceptional leadership and guidance, as a Chairman and member of the Board of Directors, through a period of significant transformation and growth for the Company.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Tom Knutzen for his significant contributions and dedicated service to the Board since his first election in 2022.

In August 2025, Givaudan announced the succession plans for the CEO and Chairman. Calvin Grieder, who was first elected to the Board in 2014 and has served as Chairman since 2017, will step down from the Board at the 2026 Annual General Meeting after completing 12 years of service. His tenure has been marked by a strong commitment to enhancing Givaudan’s strategic vision and by significant achievements.

Gilles Andrier, who will retire in March 2026 after 21 years as Chief Executive Officer of Givaudan, will be proposed for election as the new Chairman of the Board. Christian Stammkoetter, until recently President Asia, Middle East & Africa at Danone, has been designated as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 March 2026. Furthermore, should Gilles Andrier be elected as Chairman, the Board of Directors intends to establish the role of Lead Independent Director (‘LID‘) and appoint Sophie Gasperment as LID to further strengthen the Board’s independent oversight and governance.

In addition, the Board will propose the election of Ester Baiget, President and CEO of Novonesis as a new member to join the Board of Directors. Ester Baiget brings significant experience in industrial biotechnology, business transformation, and sustainable innovation leadership, which further complements the Board members’ diverse expertise.

All Board members will be elected for a term of office ending at the Annual General Meeting in 2027.
