2025 Investor Field Trip

A two-day immersion into innovation and expertise

This year’s Investor Field Trip brought together investors and analysts in three key US locations: Ridgedale, New York City, and Cincinnati, on 6 and 7 October 2025.

We welcomed over 30 guests in this journey offering a unique opportunity to explore Givaudan’s North American operations and experience the creative and technological heart of our Fragrance & Beauty and Taste & Wellbeing businesses.

Ridgedale, USA

The two-day programme opened in Ridgedale, where CEO Gilles Andrier introduced the Fragrance & Beauty business in North America.

“North America is a dynamic, innovation-driven market with significant growth potential. Our focus is to drive local relevance, accelerate innovation and strengthen our customer reach, particularly with local and regional partners leveraging our state-of-the-art facilities to deliver exceptional value.”

John Trombley, Head of Consumer Products North America, followed and highlighted that in this dynamic, innovation‑driven market with strong demand across scent‑led categories, Givaudan is uniquely positioned to grow, powered by leading olfactive expertise, deep consumer insights and a strong customer base.

Reflecting this ambition, John also shared the information on the recent acquisition of Belle Aire Creations, a US-based fragrance house renowned for innovative solutions, further strengthening Givaudan’s position with local and regional customers.

Janis Gaudelli, Innovation Director NOAM

An immersive tour brought these ambitions to life, exploring how local dynamics shape innovation and market forces, how brands differentiate in saturated markets, and how Alphora, Givaudan’s next-generation co-creation platform, enables deeper collaboration with consumers.

New York City, USA

The afternoon continued in New York City at the Fine Fragrance Studio, where Gilles Andrier shared a strategic view of the North American fine fragrance market. While it leads the world in retail value and sets global trends, it remains Givaudan’s third-largest fine fragrance market — with significant room for growth.

Matthieu Befve, Head of Fine Fragrance North American Markets, explored market dynamics, segment positioning and opportunities to expand leadership.

An interactive studio tour highlighted cross-category expertise and innovation capabilities, from emotion-led storytelling and pioneering ingredients to deep consumer insight and operational excellence and concluded with a networking reception.
