Stewart Harris began his career with KPMG in the UK before joining Roche in 1995 as the Financial Accountant of their local vitamins manufacturing site. In 1998, he moved to Switzerland, where he worked as a regional controller in Corporate Finance, before becoming the Finance Manager for Roche Vitamins in Australia and then the Regional Finance Director in China.
From 2003, he was the Regional Finance Head for DSM in China and then held a global project role at DSM Nutritional Products, based in Switzerland.
In 2009, Stewart Harris joined Givaudan, where he has held successive roles of increasing responsibility, including the Head of Group Treasury, Tax and Insurance and, more recently, the Head of Corporate Finance and Business Development, based in Vernier, Switzerland. In these roles, he was responsible for financial reporting, compliance and risk management, planning and management of Givaudan’s business development activities, as well as the Company’s five-year strategy development process. Stewart Harris has been responsible for leading the Company’s M&A activities since 2017. He was instrumental in the completion of many of Givaudan’s successful acquisitions, contributing to fuelling growth and transformation.
He was appointed Chief Financial Officer on 1 August 2024.
Stewart Harris graduated from a KPMG accountancy traineeship in Glasgow, UK and subsequently qualified as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
