Rahul Siva, Research Investigator

Rahul Siva is a Research Investigator in Givaudan’s Digitised Taste & Nutrition Lab, part of the Science & Technology department. With over 20 years of research experience, Rahul specialises in utilising artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies in the domains of food science and chemical engineering.

In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Rahul received the CEO award from Givaudan in 2019, highlighting his commitment to innovation and excellence. His significant research output includes multiple peer-reviewed publications, a book chapter, and involvement in patent applications with one approved and two pending patents.

Rahul’s expertise extends to the academic community, where he serves as a subject matter expert and reviewer for esteemed publications such as Nature, IEEE, and Elsevier. Additionally, he actively participates in the organisation of international conferences, further solidifying his presence in the global scientific community.

Rahul has been interviewed by reputable media outlets including CNN, Food Navigator, Perfumer & Flavorist Magazine, America’s Test Kitchen, and Aljazeera Science. He has also been an honorary ambassador of UNICEF since 2007.
