Making a difference at the Sustainable Foods Summit 2017 in Amsterdam

Since 2009, the Sustainable Foods Summit has been shining a spotlight on major developments in the food industry concerning sustainability and eco-labels, such as Organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance. The 2017 event will focus on exploring further new horizons in these fields. Taking place in Amsterdam from 1 to 2 June, the summit will enable Givaudan to contribute to and take part in discussions on key sustainability topics with senior executives from across the industry. Givaudan is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the 2017 summit, and will be participating in various other sustainability-related events throughout the year.

Looking to the future

The key themes of the European edition of the summit will be food ingredients, social and customer impacts and marketing best-practices. This high-level forum will look into questions such as: how can food companies and retailers address their sustainability footprints? What are the latest developments in sustainable ingredients? And how can brands enhance the social value of their products?

Food for thought

Today, she works closely with food and beverage customers to address sustainability and taste challenges, such as how to meet consumers’ desire for healthy, natural options, while still providing a great taste experience.

Tapping into her passions for marketing, science and the role of food in different cultures, Rona’s thought-provoking analysis will offer the audience an inspiring perspective on natural flavours.
