Givaudan, the global leader in fragrances and flavours, today announced it has completed the acquisition of the Nutrition Division of Centroflora Group (Centroflora Nutra), a world player in natural extracts.
Two-hundred and fifty years ago, at the start of Givaudan’s odyssey in flavour and fragrance, such considerations were unheard of. Over the centuries and decades consumer taste preferences have changed dramatically, and will continue to change. It is vital that flavour companies remain one step ahead and help Food & Beverage companies deliver products that meet ever changing consumer preferences.
The power of connecting emotion, memory and scent has been known for a long time but our understanding of it is continuously progressing. For 250 years Givaudan has been pioneering in the power of scent, on an ongoing odyssey to engage people’s senses and make the world smell better.
Givaudan collaborated with Ubisoft, a leading creator of interactive entertainment, to develop three fragrances to enhance a new multi-sensory ‘Star Trek’ arcade game at the IMAX VR Centre in Los Angeles.
