As the industry's market leader and its largest buyer of raw materials, meeting the needs of the present without compromising the future is integral to the delivery of our business strategy.

Our long-term sustainability vision was developed with advice and support from The Natural Step International (TNSI). Our comprehensive Sustainability Programme considers the five core elements of our product life-cycle:

We report on our progress annually via our Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) checked Sustainability Report. We are the first fragrance and flavour company to report on sustainability progress using the (GRI) G3 Reporting Guidelines best practice framework.

The Sustainability agenda is owned by the Executive Committee and driven by our Sustainability Steering Team, supported by internal specialists in corporate responsibility and sustainability, and in consultation with our stakeholders. We are also a signatory to the UN Global Compact and its principles are embedded in our business processes.
